Childs Sulzmann were involved at every stage in the creation of this iconic structure for Bristol, from the promotion of the Act of Parliament that is required to bridge over one of the Queen’s Harbours, to the project management of the construction.

Working closely with renowned sculptor Eilis O’Connnell, Childs Sulzmann we able to translate O’Connells sculptural forms in to the bridge we see today.

The new crossing over the harbour had a fundamental and lasting effect on the regeneration of the harbour by generating a new route from Queen Square to the developing Harbourside.
