We’ve commented before on the rise and rise of the shipping container phenomenon and we continue to be asked to find ways to put new developments on vacant and ‘in between’ sites.

Our latest is a narrow strip of land between the road and the railway in North Bristol. A planning application has been submitted for 160 business units in 178 converted containers. “It’s a very efficient way to provide 45,000 sq ft of new work space on a third of an acre of land,” says Childs Sulzmann director Mike Cox, “and because of its location there are unlikely to be any objections. We’re pleased to be delivering workspace where it can serve communities outside the centre of town.”
